We believe in nurturing children's creativity beyond the festival grounds. That's why we've teamed up with Gabby’s Classroom to bring you tips on how to encourage your children to write stories and explore their imagination at home, or anywhere!
This year, thanks to the generous support from the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, 250 children will be attending this year’s Festival through our Adopt a Class program, for a day filled with learning, laughter and inspiration.

The 47th Annual Vancouver International Children’s Festival takes place May 27 – June 2 in person on Granville Island where world-class theatre, music, dance, circus, puppetry and storytelling performers come to entertain Metro Vancouver children and families.
Join us for our Opening Night event! The evening begins with an Indigenous Welcome ceremony with Elder Statesman Xwechtaal Dennis Joseph of the Squamish Nation, an evening performance of Robot Song and complimentary refreshments afterwards.
