As a non-profit organization, Vancouver International Children’s Festival uses private funding to subsidize ticket prices and ensure accessibility to our cultural programming for all children regardless of social or economic circumstance.

Vancouver International Children’s Festival Announces 2024 Lineup
The 47th Annual Vancouver International Children’s Festival takes place May 27 – June 2 in person on Granville Island where world-class theatre, music, dance, circus, puppetry and storytelling performers come to entertain Metro Vancouver children and families.

Opening Night
Join us for our Opening Night event! The evening begins with an Indigenous Welcome ceremony with Elder Statesman Xwechtaal Dennis Joseph of the Squamish Nation, an evening performance of Robot Song and complimentary refreshments afterwards.
